Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Premium subscriptions are billed once a year and can be canceled whenever you like. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the year you've already paid for — no future charges.
Why is everything billed annually?
Books take months to write — a single month would sell your momentum short. Annual billing keeps the per-month cost low while giving your story a full year to grow. And at renewal, subscriptions are charged at the standard rate then in effect, which will be higher — Founders Lifetime is the only price that never changes.
What is your refund policy?
Because Poievia™ is a digital service whose full value is delivered — and fully exportable — from your first session, all purchases are final and non-refundable, including monthly and annual charges and Founders Lifetime. If a plan isn't right for you, cancel anytime to stop future charges, or stay on the free Starter plan, which is free forever.
What happens to my books if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Your projects, drafts, and story materials stay safely stored. Premium tools (Story Map, Story Bible, The Refinery, Publish Path, Export Package) simply lock until you upgrade again.
Is my work really mine?
Yes — completely. You retain all rights to everything you write in Poievia™. Your content is used only to provide the studio's features to you.
What does 'AI assist' mean?
AI assists are the brainstorming, organizing, analysis, and suggestion features powered by AI. Starter includes 25 every month, Premium includes 200, and Founders Lifetime includes 500 — each plan's allowance resets monthly and never blocks your writing: only AI features use credits.
Can I buy extra credits?
Yes. One-time credit packs — 100, 500, or 1,500 assists — are available from the Credits page inside the app. Purchased credits never expire, are spent only after your monthly allowance runs out, and — like all Poievia™ purchases — are final and non-refundable.
